At a pre-trial hearing here at Guantanamo Bay, the man accused of masterminding the September 11 attacks has spoken out against America.<br/> <br />Khalid Sheik Mohammed told the court the U.S. government had killed many more people than the 9/11 hijackers.<br/> <br />Dressed in a camouflage vest, Mohammed accused the U.S. of sending thousands to their deaths in the name of national security.<br/> <br />Relatives of 9/11 victims were in court for the hearing.<br/> <br />Mohammed appeared alongside four others accused of recruiting and funding the hijackers.<br/> <br />All five could face the death penalty if convicted.
