Yasutaka Funakoshi wandered deeper down the rabbit hole, resurrecting a darker version of Alice in Wonderland for his latest collection.<br/> <br />The designer unveiled his gothic-fantasy creations for brand Alice Auaa at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Tokyo.<br/> <br />Models lurked down the runway, exhibiting characters like the Mad Hatter from Lewis Carroll's novel.<br/> <br />Or objects like the table where Alice drank the potion to shrink and enter the fantasy world.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) Yasutaka Funakoshi, designer for Alice Auaa, saying (Japanese):<br/> <br />"They're very different from real clothes and so what I'm making is something where one could walk down the street while wearing a table. I want to do that sort of thing; to sort of see, in some ways, what it'd be like and what people's reactions would be."<br/> <br />The "Alice in Wonderland in Me" exhibition is in step with Funakoshi's other gothic designs, which have attracted a large following.
