According to the writer, Scott Lobdell, he is trying to depict the common-day struggles of 20-somethings. "This is really what happens when a 27-year-old guy is behind a desk and he has to take instruction from a larger conglomerate with concerns that aren't really his own," Lobdell says.

Even though Clark Kent is the mild-mannered alter ego to Superman, his exit is anything but. According to a DC comics representative, Kent's resignation is more of a Jerry MaGuire-esque exit after a blow up involving the Daily Planet editor, Morgan Edge.

So what's in the cards for Kent? Some people are speculating that he will go the blogger route. Hey Clark! If you do decide to become a blogger you may want to send out a few resumes to restaurants as well. JUST SAYIN'!
