ROUGH CUT - NO REPORTER NARRATION<br/> <br />Protestors clashed with police in northern Italy on Saturday as Prime Minister Mario Monti arrived to address a convention in the town of Riva del Garda.<br/> <br />Police formed a cordon around the convention area where Monti was addressing a meeting at the "Festival of the Family".<br/> <br />The protestors want to draw attention to the deep resentment of the economic measures Monti's government is implementing.<br/> <br />Last month Monti's government hiked its 2012 deficit target to 2.6 percent of gross domestic product from 1.7 percent, blaming a deeper than expected recession.
