After a storm-induced pause, U.S. President Barack Obama returns to the campaign trail in Boulder, Colorado - in the final stretch of the Battle for the White House.<br/> <br />Obama told cheering crowds that Superstorm Sandy, though one of the worst storms in memory, had brought out the best in the American people.<br/> <br />And he reminded the audience that he's still the candidate for change.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (English) PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA SAYING:<br/> <br />"And that's why I know what real change looks like, because I fought for it, I've got the scars to prove it.I've got gray hair to show for it."<br/> <br />Meanwhile his Republican challenger Mitt Romney was back on the attack in Doswell, Viginia - where he told the crowds HE's the one who represents change.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (English) REPUBLICAN PRESIDENTIAL NOMINEE MITT ROMNEY SAYING:<br/> <br />"I don't believe status quo is the right course for America, I believe that America finally needs real change. It was promised and we are going to give it to the American people."<br/> <br />With just five days left until Tuesday's election, some polls show the race is essentially deadlocked.<br/> <br />Both Obama and Romney are expected to spend the final days before November 6 campaiging in eight crucial swing states, which will likely decide the final outcome.
