http://www.mqm.org <br />http:///www.allaboutmqm.org <br />Funerals of Muttahida Qaumi Movement leader Jalil-ur-Rehman, who was gunned down on Saturday in Hyderabad,<br /><br />Two people of Bohra community and MQM’s Jalil-ur-Rehman, who was former city nazim, were shot dead in an armed attack in Hyderabad late on Saturday.<br /><br />Rehman was also joint sector in charge of the MQM. He was elected deputy nazim from UC-11 Hyderabad in 2005 and had also served as caretaker city nazim of Hyderabad.<br /><br />Rehman’s funeral prayers were offered at Nishat Chowk. MQM MPAs Sohail Yousuf, Waseem Hussain, Zonal Incharge Sharif Khan, Zonal Committee members attended the funerals among a large number of party workers.<br /><br />MQM leadership has condemned the murder and demanded of the government to ensure security of citizens and peace in the city.<br /><br />Two brothers belonging to Bahra community also fell prey to the violence when armed miscreants opened fires in Hyderabad’s Bohri Bazar area, killing 25-year old Ghulam Murtaza and 35-year old Shabbir Ali.<br /><br />The two brothers were also laid to rest today.
