Boot camp drills South Korean students for exams

Pupils study at a school in South Korea, where a strict regime is helping students improve their grades.<br/> <br />Deung Yong Moon is one of several private boarding schools preparing students for college entry exams.<br/> <br />But to get them working hard, a bootcamp regime is enforced.<br/> <br />For nine months students dedicate their waking hours to the test.<br/> <br />Conversations between men and women are forbidden here and there is no access to television, or the internet.<br/> <br />Security cameras also monitor the students' every move.<br/> <br />SOUNDBITE: SOUTH KOREA'S COLLEGE ENTRANCE EXAM RETAKER, 20-YEAR-OLD CHO HWAN, SAYING (Korean):<br/> <br />"I feel really suffocated here. I feel so suffocated, seriously."<br/> <br />Despite the discipline, school officials say they get results.<br/> <br />Annual collage entry exams are a stressful time for students and many fall foul of the pressures to succeed.<br/> <br />Around 140,000 are due to take this year's exam, which will take place on November 8th.
