Former Congresswoman Garbrielle Giffords comes face to face with for the man who shot her in the head at close range.<br/> <br />Jared Loughner was sentenced to life in prison for killing six people and wounding 13 others, including Giffords, last year.<br/> <br />Several victims testified before Loughner was sentenced including Ron Barber, one of Gifford's former aides.<br/> <br />SOUNDBITE) (English) GIFFORDS' FORMER CONGRESSIONAL AIDE RON BARBER SAYING:<br/> <br />"'I hold no hatred for you, but I am very, very angry and sick at heart about what you did and the hurt you have imposed on all of us.' I told him he must live with this burden and he'll never see outside of prison again."<br/> <br />Twenty-four-year-old Loughner, a college dropout with a history of mental illness, received seven consecutive life sentences plus 140 years in prison without the possibility of parole.<br/> <br />Judge Larry Burns explained that the seven life sentences represented the six people killed and the failed attempt to assassinate Giffords.<br/> <br />Giffords suffered a head wound as a result of the shooting that left her with speech difficulties, a paralyzed right arm, diminished sight and a limp. She resigned from Congress in January to focus on her recuperation.
