Thirteen people were killed and a police officer seriously wounded on Saturday in a gunfight in Sri Lanka's biggest prison. <br /><br />Officials said it started after inmates opened fire on police after breaking in to the prison armoury. <br />Members of staff were also held hostage. <br /><br />The army had to be called in to help control the situation.<br />http://www.euronews.net/
