Hi students, <br />On May 21, 2012, we were lucky to be able to view a gorgeous annular solar eclipse. I watched it through a type of telescope called a refractor. A refractor is a type of telescope that uses a big glass lens to bend light toward an eyepiece, which uses a smaller lens. A reflector is a different type of telescope that uses a mirror. (The music is a song called "Wooden Leg", by Röyksopp. It appeared on a 2000 compilation CD called "Le Big Sloppy Kiss")
