ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)<br/> <br />STORY: Hundreds of Jewish people gathered at the Western Wall on Sunday to pray for peace, amidst the recent surge of violence in Gaza.<br/> <br />In Jerusalem's old city Rabbi headed a special prayer service asking God to bring peace to the region.<br/> <br />The violence in Gaza continued on Sunday with at least 11 Palestinian civilians, including four children, killed in what Hamas said was an Israeli air strike on a Gaza apartment building. It was the highest death toll in a single incident in five days of fighting.<br/> <br />Israel gave off signs of a possible ground invasion of the Hamas-run enclave as the next stage in its air and sea offensive billed as a bid to stop Palestinian rocket fire into the Jewish state, while also spelling out its conditions for a truce.<br/> <br />Earlier on Sunday, Christians in the West Bank City of Beit Jala gathered for a mass to pray for their citizens in Gaza.
