Kevin Clash, the voice of Elmo, has resigned from Sesame Street amidst a new lawsuit accusing him of having sex with an underage boy. The accuser claims Clash had sex with him in 1993 - when he was 15.<br/> <br />Sesame Workshop released a statement saying that Clash has "concluded that he can no longer be effective in his job."<br/> <br />Clash's previous accuser recanted his allegations last week, changing his story to say that the two did have sex, but as consenting adults.<br/> <br />Clash had been on a leave of absence since that first lawsuit and had denied any wrongdoing from the start.<br/> <br />So far, he's had no comment on the new allegations.
