BAKED POTATO IN CREAMY SAUCE<br />Ingredients -<br />1 tsp soya sauce <br />½ tsp red chilli powder<br />1 tsp sugar <br />1 small onion finely chopped<br />½ cup mixed steamed vegs <br />4tbsp grated cheese<br />5 boiled potatoes <br />1 ½ cup milk <br />1 tbsp butter <br />Salt and pepper to taste<br />1 ½ tsp cornflour<br /><br />METHOD -<br />Boil the potatoes in 1tr of salted water for 8 to 10 mins .Cool the potatoes and peel them. Make a circular cut in the middle and scoop the layer making a depression. Keep the scooped portion of the potatoes separately.<br /><br />For the filling heat butter sauté onions till pink, add mixed vegs, soya sauce,redchilli powder,sugar and salt and cook for 2 mins and cool. Mix these sauted vegs in the potato mash . Fill this mixture in the scooped potato and keep aside.<br />For the creamy sauce mix together milk, cornflour and butter and boil till thick. Season with salt and pepper.<br /><br />In a greased baking tray make a thick layer of the creamy sauce ,place the potatoes and pour the remaining sauce ovet it . Garnish with left over filling mixture and cheese. Bake in the oven for 20 mins at 200◦ C and serve hot with garlic bread .
