Al Qarra - To help bring order to a country often characterized as lawless, the African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) established a special police force to maintain security in Mogadishu. The Formed Police Units (FPU) are two groups of 140 men each from Uganda and Nigeria. Their mission: to patrol unrelentingly in the city.
