http://www.mqm.org<br />http://www.allaboutmqm.org<br />The movement of arms and ammunition from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to Karachi should be discouraged, said Muttahida Qaumi Movement MNA Wasim Akhter while talking to the media in Karachi.<br />While appreciating outstanding performance of security forces, he said that police jawans successfully foiled many bids of terrorism in the metropolis but there should be something more for affective measure.<br />He said that a large number of illegal factories are assembling weapons which are being used by terrorists in different areas of country particularly in Karachi.<br />He said that a large number of terrorists hailing from banned outfits are involved in heinous crimes and Karachi has become a safe haven for them. . They are in possession of heavy quantity of sophisticated weapons which have become a real challenge for security forces, said MQM leader.<br />He repeatedly emphasized that such destructive and anti-human elements should be exterminated with iron hands for perpetual consolidation of law and order in the city.
