Colombian gov't seeks inroads in FARC bastion

Despite peace talks between Colombia's FARC rebels and the government, little has changed for the people living at the heart of the five-decade conflict.<br /><br />Efforts by the government to increase its presence in Cauca is an attempt to weaken the rebels' influence in the region.<br /><br />Recently, the FARC announced a temporary unilateral ceasefire. But clashes continue to erupt leading the military and the local population to think that the fighting has not really stopped.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Alessandro Rampietti reports from Cauca, Colombia.
