Panic near Turkey's border with Syria - after Syrian war planes attacked a rebel base on Monday.<br/> <br />Opposition activists said the jets missed their target - near a refugee camp in the village of Atima and no injuries were reported.<br/> <br />With more than 120,000 Syrians seeking refuge in southern Turkey, Syrian jets have bombed rebel targets in the area before - but this strike came closest to the border so far.<br/> <br />The Turkish government has requested NATO missiles stationed along the border - and rebels said a Turkish jet was scrambled to the area.<br/> <br />Meanwhile, amateur video said to be filmed on Sunday - appeared to show Syrian rebels capturing a helicopter base near Damascus.<br/> <br />Activists said rebels destroyed two helicopters and took 15 prisoners at the Marj al-Sultan base - outside of the capital city.<br/> <br />The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said more than 40,000 have died in the 20-month civil war between the forces of President Bashar al-Assad and the rebels.
