Ms. Roshaneh Zafar is the Founder and Managing Director of Kashf Foundation, Chair Kashf Holdings and Founder Kashf Microfinance Bank Limited based in Pakistan.<br /><br />Ms. Zafar founded the Kashf Foundation – the first specialized microfinance organization in Pakistan – in 1996 after a chance meeting with Professor Muhammad Yunus of the Grameen Bank. Today, Kashf Foundation is the largest private microfinance institution in Pakistan.<br /><br />Ms. Zafar is also the founding member of the Pakistan Microfinance Network (PMN). Ms. Zafar is a graduate of the Wharton Business School University of Pennsylvania in Finance and Economics and also holds a Masters degree in International and Development Economics from Yale University.<br /><br />This interview was organized by the Pakistan Microfinance Network in which Ms. Zafar and Ms. Zainab Saeed (Manager Internal & External Affairs - Kashf Foundation) briefed about the milestones that Kashf foundation has achieved and how Kashf has encouraged women entrepreneurship.
