Israel's moratorium on settlement construction in the West Bank is set to expire within hours from now. It was set up 10 months ago by the Israeli government as a move towards peace talks with Palestine. Meanwhile, Palestinian government officials warned several times that any new construction works in the West Bank will mean the immediate halt of the ongoing negotiations. Some Jewish settlers plan to celebrate the event by laying the foundation stones of the new buildings in the area. The international community has repeatedly called on Israel to extend the moratorium, while Israelis call on their government to end it. RT talks to Eyal Raviv, the founder of MEPEACE non-profit organization aimed at extended dialogue between both sides of the conflict.
