After 15 years in prison, Macau gangster Wan "Broken Tooth" Kuok-koi is free.<br/> <br />The former triad leader is infamous for his role in bloody gangland turf wars and illegal gambling deals during the 1990s.<br/> <br />He was also involved in the movie business and helped produce the film "Casino", which followed the violent hijinks of gangs and high rollers.<br/> <br />Macau is still known for its glitzy casinos, hotels and shopping districts, as well as its darker underbelly.<br/> <br />Gangs are also responsible for recruiting and transporting high-rollers and offering credit and debt recovery for players frequenting lucrative VIP gaming rooms.<br/> <br />These kinds of games make billions for Macau's gambling industry and are worth more than 70 percent of total gambling revenue at $33.5 billion annually.
