South Africa’s government says it has ruled out wholesale nationalisation of the mining industry. <br /><br />President Jacob Zuma has promised there will be greater state intervention and possibly strategic nationalisation of certain minerals.<br /><br />The African National Congress party will decide on how to get more out of the country’s mineral wealth at its five yearly elective conference this week.<br /><br />Tania Page reports from Limpopo, South Africa.
