A Burlington Northern Santa Fe freight train was derailed by a mudslide south of Everett in the northwestern U.S. state of Washington.<br/> <br />Seven carriages were pushed off the tracks by the mud.<br/> <br />The train was transporting packages of chemicals for fertilizer, cleaning supplies and disinfectant.<br/> <br />No injuries or deaths were reported, and there was no indication of environmental hazards related to the accident.<br/> <br />The tracks were closed for a 48 hour period to allow authorities to clear the rails.
