NATO troops enjoy Christmas lunch in Kabul

Turkey and all the trimmings for these troops stationed in Kabul, Afghanistan.<br/> <br />Afghan generals along with their NATO colleagues carved meats and served Christmas lunch to soldiers at Kabul international airport where the camp is based.<br/> <br />For some, the traditional food and family feel was uplifting.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (English) U.S SERGEANT FIRST CLASS, WILLIE H. But I certainly do wish I was home with my family."<br/> <br />The United States and its NATO allies are gradually withdrawing from Afghanistan.<br/> <br />They will hand over security responsibilities to Afghan forces by 2014, more than a decade after the U.S.-led invasion.
