Six Russian tourists were killed and two injured on Friday when their snowmobile lost control and plunged down a steep ski slope in the Italian Alps.<br/> <br />The victims were driving along the Cermis mountain in the Trentino province before they tumbled 100 meters down.<br/> <br />Rescue operations kicked off with 14 men and search dogs, while firefighters and ski lift operators joined later as reinforcements.<br/> <br />The accident happened amidst rocks and dense forest, making it difficult to recover the bodies.<br/> <br />An army helicopter transported the injured to a hospital.
