US politician Bill Richardson may have failed to secure the release of an American held in North Korea.<br />But he says the main success of the visit was the discussions around greater adoption of the internet in North Korea.<br />This previously un-stated goal goes some way to explaining why Google chief Eric Schmidt was part of the delegation.<br />Al Jazeera's Tarek Bazley reports.
