A deadly day in Pakistan - as more than 100 people were killed in two separate cities on Thursday.<br/> <br />Police said at least 69 people were killed and more than 100 injured in twin explosions in the southwestern city of Quetta.<br/> <br />The attacks - first at a snooker hall - followed by a car bomb about ten minutes later - took place in a predominantly Shia neighborhood.<br/> <br />Earlier in the day, in the city's market - another explosion - killing at least 11 people and injuring more than 40.<br/> <br />Then - in a fourth blast - in Pakistan's northwest - at least 21 people were killed and more than 60 people injured as people gathered to hear a religious speaker in the city of Mingora.<br/> <br />The string of attacks underscored the threats Pakistani security forces currently face - from homegrown Sunni extremist groups - across the country.
