PLEASE NOTE: THIS EDIT CONTAINS CONVERTED 4:3 MATERIAL<br/> <br />Dozens of villagers were trapped in southeastern province of Hakkari on Thursday (January 10) when an avalanche engulfed their village.<br/> <br />The avalanche blocked the main roads heading to the village as local residents tried to re-open them using shovels to move the snow.<br/> <br />Villagers had to walk through a snowy path to reach an ambulance as they carried wounded people in blankets.<br/> <br />The ambulance couldn't leave the area as it was stuck in the snow so another ambulance came to transfer the wounded to an hospital.
