Al Qarra - In the Central African Republic, Muslims living in the country have been urging for peace. They say they refuse a blurring of the issue. As the strife between the Seleka rebels and the government continues, the population at large has urged for unity and an end to the crisis. The Muslims, who make 10% of the population, fear to become the scapegoat of the conflict.<br /><br />Saliou Ndia, Imam<br /><br />« Our biggest concern, for me especially, is that people get confused with what is happening there and blame the Muslims for the situation. If one or two Muslims are involved, it does not mean that all Muslims are related to the issue.
