Gajar Ka Halwa - Carrot Pudding - Vegetarian Recipe <br />INGREDIENTS- <br />500 gm grated carrots <br />500 ml milk <br />3/4 cups of sugar <br />1 tbsp. clarified butter (ghee) <br />almond flakes <br />1/2 tsp. roasted cardamom powder <br /> <br />METHOD- <br />Heat 1tbsp. ghee in a pan. Add grated carrots. Stir it well. After cooking for 1 to 1 and half a minute, add milk. Mix it well. <br />Let the mixture cook for 10-15 minutes till the milk is reduced to half. <br />Add half to 3/4th cup of sugar, as per taste. <br />Cook till all the milk and water is dried out. <br />Add 1/2 tsp. roasted cardamom powder and some roasted almond flakes. Keep it for cooling for 30-40 min so that it sets nicely.
