The two Italian marines charged with killing two Indian fishermen return to New Delhi on Friday.<br/> <br />These marines, members of a military security team protecting an oil-tanker, the Enrica Lexie, say they mistook the fishermen for pirates.<br/> <br />Last year, Italy challenged India's right to try the sailors, arguing that the shooting took place in international waters off the coast of the Indian state of Kerala.<br/> <br />The marines face charges in a special federal trial since Kerala courts do not have jurisdiction to try the case.<br/> <br />The Italian government said it is pleased by the decision and says its main objective is to bring the soldiers home.
