(ROUGH CUT ONLY - NO REPORTER NARRATION)<br/> <br />Patriot surface-to-air missile components were unloaded at the Turkish port of Iskenderun on Tuesday (January 22) as part of the Dutch missile deployment to Incirlik Air Base.<br/> <br />Netherlands shipped out the Patriots as part of a NATO operation to bolster Turkey's defence against a threat of air attacks from Syria. More than 130 containers were brought to Turkey with the Gibraltar ship called 'Louise Russ'.<br/> <br />The Netherlands, Germany and the United States are each sending two Patriot missile batteries and up to 400 troops to Turkey after Ankara asked for NATO's help.<br/> <br />The Patriot batteries are expected to be fully functional by the beginning of February.
