Sera Monastery was re-established at Bylakuppe, Mysore District, Karnataka State, South India in 1970 with group of 197 Sera Jey Monks and 103 Sera Mey Monks.<br />Following footage was shot in 1978. I dedicate this video to those Abbots, Rinpoche, Geshe and Monks who escaped from Tibet and re-established Sera Monastery in India and maintained our precious Buddhist Teachings and Tibetan Cultures by their kind contribution and very hard works.
