<p>Romanian authorities have arrested three people in connection with the Rotterdam art heist last year that led to the disappearance of seven irreplaceable masterpieces.<br /><br />The assistant of a Romanian fashion designer was detained on Monday night (January 28) for 24 hours, accused of conspiracy.<br /><br />Seven paintings were stolen from the Kunsthal museum on October 16, making it the biggest heist in 20 years.<br /><br />The missing works included paintings by Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse, and Claude Monet.
