A multi-vehicle pile up on a Detroit, Michigan freeway.<br/> <br />Two people were killed and more than a dozen injured in the crash when white-out wintery weather caused treacherous conditions.<br/> <br />Several people, including children, were taken to hospitals with various injuries, most complaining of back, neck and head pains.<br/> <br />Later in the day, an Indiana interstate was closed in both directions following another pileup involving more than 40 vehicles.<br/> <br />Seven people were injured in the crash, but none of the injuries were considered life-threatening.
