(ROUGH CUT ONLY - NO REPORTER NARRATION)<br/> <br />U.S. Vice President Joe Biden met British Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg at Downing Street on Tuesday (February 5) during his visit to London.<br/> <br />Biden arrived in the British capital on Monday as part of his Europe tour which has taken him to Germany and France.<br/> <br />Both Clegg and Biden said they hoped the visit would strengthen the bilateral relationship.<br/> <br />"I am absolutely sure it would be something that could create a significant boost to prosperity and jobs on both sides of the Atlantic," Clegg said.<br/> <br />"The most open relationship we have with any nation is with Great Britain. We do have a lot to discuss because we both have a lot of stake in all the areas you mentioned," Biden said as the two men sat down for talks.<br/> <br />Biden was due to meet Prime Minister David Cameron later on Tuesday, amid warnings from the Obama administration that it does not want Britain to leave the European Union.
