Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi is on his first visit to his parliament constituency Amethi, after taking over the new assignment. He got a rousing welcome at Fursatganj airport where people gathered in large numbers to greet their favourite leader. <br />"Whenever I come to Amethi, I feel that I have come home. My relationship with Amethi is not political, but it is my family" said Rahul Gandhi striking an emotional chord with the people. <br />"I know there are serious issues of unemployment in Uttar Pradesh. There is no Congress Government here but I hope we will have one soon," added Rahul Gandhi. <br />"Our government at the centre is making full efforts to take the country forward" said the newly appointed Congress Vice-President. He thanked the people of Amethi for the overwhelming support, affection and encouragement extended to him.
