In war torn Syria, a school becomes home, as families who've fled from violence try to find shelter and comfort.<br/> <br />Here in southern Damascus, they hang out in hallways. A classroom becomes a bedroom for a family of eight.<br/> <br />Emad Fallahah owned a supermarket in Aleppo. His store was destroyed. One son was injured. His 12-year-old boy was killed.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (Arabic) ALEPPO SHOPKEEPER, EMAD FALLAHAH SAYING:<br/> <br />"All of this is not important. We just want to see the country as it was again. When I remember my little child I cannot stop my tears."<br/> <br />Syria's health minister visited the school Thursday as refugees collected food donations.<br/> <br />The two-year conflict has displaced an estimated two million people inside Syria, and more than 700-thousand have fled to neighboring countries.<br/> <br />The U.N. estimates that four million need humanitarian assistance.<br/> <br />For now, they're seeking safety in schools and hospitals and taking comfort wherever they can find it.
