The mangled aftermath of a bus explosion on the Turkish-Syrian border.<br/> <br />A Syrian minibus exploded Thursday on this border crossing near the Turkish Mediterranean town of Reyhanli, killing at least 13 people and wounding dozens more.<br/> <br />Witnesses said the minibus exploded as it was driving up to the Turkish border gate, one of the main crossing points for Syrians fleeing into Turkey.<br/> <br />NATS FIRE TRUCK<br/> <br />The Turkish government said it is investigating if the explosion was a suicide bomb or some other kind of blast.<br/> <br />This is effectively a stretch of no-man's land between the two countries.<br/> <br />The Syrian side of the border crossing is rebel controlled and Turkish trucks routinely deliver goods here where they are picked up by Syrians.<br/> <br />NATS CAR<br/> <br />Violence from the Syrian conflict has spilled over the Turkish border before, and tensions between Turkey and Syria have increased in recent weeks.
