Clashes in Bangladesh over war crimes trial

(ROUGH CUT ONLY - NO REPORTER NARRATION)<br/> <br />Clashes erupted on the streets of Dhaka as activists on Wednesday (February 13) continued protests against war crimes trials linked to Bangladesh's war of independence.<br/> <br />Police fired blank rounds, rubber bullets and tear gas during the protest by activists and supporters of the Islamist Jamaat-e-Islami political party and its student wing, Islami Chhatra Shibir.<br/> <br />At least one bus was set on fire during the violence. At least 150 people have been arrested.<br/> <br />The latest protest and clashes are the latest after the conviction of a second Jamaat-e-Islami leader by a Bangladesh tribunal of war crimes during a 1971 conflict that saw Bangladesh break away from Pakistan.
