EDITORS PLEASE NOTE: EDIT CONTAINS CONVERTED 4:3 MATERIAL<br/> <br />A British couple have been killed in a Thai traffic accident while on a trip round-the-world cycling trip.<br/> <br />Mary Thompson and Peter Root were on a highway east of Bangkok when they were reportedly hit by a pick-up truck.<br/> <br />Their belongings were recovered by police, who say a 25-year-old has admitted hitting the cyclists.<br/> <br />He's been charged with causing death and dangerous driving.<br/> <br />Thompson and Root started their trip in 2011.<br/> <br />They had already travelled through more than 23 countries in Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
