Reeva Steenkamp's coffin arrives at a Port Elizabeth crematorium on Tuesday ahead of her private funeral.<br/> <br />The 29-year-old model was shot dead at the home of her boyfriend and Olympic and Paralympic star Oscar Pistorius last Thursday.<br/> <br />At the same time, the South African double amputee nicknamed "Blade Runner" arrives at a Pretoria court to apply for bail after being charged with Steenkamp's murder.<br/> <br />Outside the courthouse a small group from the African National Congress Women's League also gathers.<br/> <br />One representative says Pistorius shouldn't be granted bail.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (English) AFRICAN NATIONAL CONGRESS (ANC) WOMEN'S LEAGUE REPRESENTATIVE, NOMALIZO MALEFU, SAYING:<br/> <br />"Our concern is that class and money seems to be dictating how things should go and we believe that he is just a murderer. That's what he is."<br/> <br />The 26-year-old sprinter was widely held up as a hero in his native South Africa, competing with prosthetic legs against able-bodied athletes at the highest level.<br/> <br />Initial media reports suggested Pistorius may have mistaken his girlfriend for an intruder.<br/> <br />But police have said Steenkamp was killed by more than one gunshot and that neighbours had heard earlier disturbances.<br/> <br />Pistorius is the only suspect in the model's death.
