Closing arguments are expected Thursday in a bail hearing for Oscar Pistorius, the South African double amputee, who is currently being held in police custody on charges he murdered his girlfriend.<br/> <br />"Blade Runner" as he's known, arrived for a third day of hearings in Pretoria, South Africa.<br/> <br />Pistorius has been charged with pre-meditated murder for the shooting death of his girlfriend Reeva Steencamp at his home earlier this month.<br/> <br />Meanwhile, a police spokesman said early on Thursday that the lead detective in Oscar Pistorius' murder case is facing attempted murder charges for opening fire at a mini bus containing seven people.<br/> <br />Brigadier Neville Malila said Hilton Botha, who took the stand against Pistorius at a bail hearing on Wednesday is due to appear in court in May.<br/> <br />Although a bail decision for Pistorius may come by the end of this week, a trial could be several months away.<br/> <br />If convicted of premeditated murder, Pistorius faces life in jail.
