This quick bread loaf is the perfect companion to a hearty stew...<br /><br />1½ cups (375 mL / 230g) whole wheat flour<br />2 cups (500 mL / 330g) AP Flour<br />½ cup (125 mL / 45g) wheat bran<br />1¼ tsp (6 mL) baking soda<br />1 tsp (5 mL) salt<br />⅓ cup (75 mL) sugar<br />2 cups (500 mL) buttermilk<br /><br />Method:<br />Pre heat oven to 350ºF (180ºC)<br />Grease & flour a bread pan (metal or clay)<br />Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl<br />Add buttermilk and mix to a gooey dough<br />Quickly put dough into a prepared bread pan <br />Cook for 1 hour
