A U.S. soldier arrives for questioning at a police station in Seoul on Monday following an alleged hit and run.<br /> <br />He is one of three accused of threatening South Korean civilians with an air gun and then fleeing when police arrived on the scene, prompting a car chase.<br /> <br />According to South Korean officials, the Americans came to a dead end and tried to escape by ramming one of the police cars.<br /> <br />South Korean officers fired a warning shot and at least three other rounds in what they say was self defence.<br /> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (Korean) SOUTH KOREAN POLICEMAN LIM SEONG-MOOK SAYING:<br /> <br />"I fired the gun because the car tried to hit me the second time after it hit me once, even though I was standing against a wall.
