In Kenya, some polling centres have officially begun to shut their gates to begin the vote counting process.<br /><br />This year's general election will see Kenyans casting ballots for a number of new political posts as a result of constitutional reforms issued in 2010.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Nazanine Moshiri reports from Kibera, where election officials, monitors from the different parties and security await the official vote count.<br /><br />Though voting has been extended to accomodate the hundreds who queued in hours-long lines, in some areas, voters will only be allowed to cast their ballot if they are within the confines of the given premises at the time.
