Just days after another Sarpanch became the victim of terror elements in the valley, the Jammu and Kashmir police were successful in foiling another sinister plan to attack a Sarpanch. The police have arrested terrorist Bashir Ahmed who was found armed with grenades to kill the Panchayat leader. Ahmed had been unleashed to intimidate Panchayat leaders into resigning.
