Wounded Syrians fill hospitals in north Jordan

Hospitals in northern Jordan are struggling to keep up with the influx of wounded Syrians entering the country to escape the conflict.<br/> <br />Princess Basma training hospital in the town of Irbid is one.<br/> <br />It has 200 beds and an emergency unit, but is working at full capacity.<br/> <br />The hospital's director said that on Monday alone, they received 33 new cases-- mostly injuries from shrapnel and live ammunition.<br/> <br />More Syrians arrive daily, he said.<br/> <br />Some of the wounded belong to the rebel Free Syrian Army.<br/> <br />One fighter was wounded two days ago in a battle with government forces.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (Arabic) FAHD LABANY, SYRIAN PATIENT, SAYING:<br/> <br />"We were under attack, by rocket launchers, artillery and mortars.
