Massive snowstorm slams U.S. Midwest

A blizzard is barreling across the U.S. Midwest.<br/> <br />Already, over a thousand flights have been cancelled as massive traffic delays sweep the region.<br/> <br />The huge storm was due to hit Washington, D.C. on Wednesday - where the National Weather Service expected the most snowfall in possibly two years.<br/> <br />Here in Chicago, the Weather Service had issued a winter storm warning, with up to eight inches of snow expected.<br/> <br />At the Windy City's O'Hare International Airport there's already been over six inches.<br/> <br />Officials said the snowy weather may have been a contributing factor in a deadly crash on Interstate 70 in Marshall, Illinois, near the border with Indiana.<br/> <br />A female driver crossed the median and crashed into a tanker truck traveling in the opposite direction.<br/> <br />The driver and her young child were both killed.
