Pressure mounts on the Omar Abdullah government as a 24 year old boy is allegedly killed by security forces trying to quell a protest. Amid uproar in the Legislative Council over the death of a youth in Baramulla, the Opposition on Wednesday (March 6) demanded investigation into the alleged firing by security forces and asked for strict action against the accused. Lashing out at Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, opposition People's Democratic Party (PDP) accused the National Conference of running the state into bankruptcy just to remain in power.
