This refugee camp in the Kurdish region of Iraq is now home to some 50,000 Syrian refugees.<br/> <br />Up until June of last year that number was a manageable 2,000.<br/> <br />But as the fighting between Syrian government forces and rebels intensified, Syrians began fleeing in greater numbers.<br/> <br />Yesterday, the UN said a million people have now fled Syria's civil war<br/> <br />And doctors here are struggling to keep up with the demand for treatment.<br/> <br />Dr Mustapha Khalil from Doctors Without Borders says this is no longer a refugee camp, but a town.<br/> <br />He says there are only three or four doctors here, holding 600 consultations per day.<br/> <br />Within Syria itself the situation can be even worse, particularly in rebel held areas.<br/> <br />Here patients have to risk their lives travelling long distances to reach this secret surgical hospital set up inside a family home by Doctors Without Borders.<br/> <br />This woman brought her grandchild here to be treated for burns.<br/> <br />She says it's very diffi
